Yours Truly....

My Berlin "To do/see list" was crammed with predictable landmarks and architectural masterpieces all swarming with tourists complete with the obligatory fanny pack and unnecessarily oversized lenses (me thinks I was a tad bitter as my 45mm lense just looked mediocre compared to the well endowed Japanese). I decided to take refuge from the questionable souvenir stands and the invasion of the grotesque American multinationals (I mean you, Yes you, Starbucks! With your distinctly average coffee and watered down instrumental music playing to a room cluttered with your inoffensive furniture that only Henry ford could be proud of - BREATH! ha). Abandoning the crowds came with many a reward, not so true for my pension like arthritic knees whom craved the relief of my orthopedic insoles - SAD! One such reward was stumbling upon the retrospective of Roger Melis whose pictorials are sheer poetic brilliance. Unable to take photographs (trust I tried, my attempts were met by a stern Germanic lady whom towered over my skinny, skeletal like frame) I resorted to buying a few not so vulgar souvenirs. My intentions for these postcards were to send them to my lovely readers, However, I doubt any of you would trust a potential stalker with their addresses, thus I think I may just flick through the yellow pages and randomly pick four unsuspecting members of the great British public and sign with a thought provoking quote?? Ideas welcome....
