Red and yellow and pink and green...I can sing a rainbow!

Question! What's rarer than a painite gem a William Shakespeare autograph or the first published comic under "The amazing Spiderman" series?? Answer - Solid coloured socks. I kid you not! They may not come with a price tag of six trillion pounds but they do demand the same importance (well in my world, actually only in my world! ha!) For months I searched high and low for the above but with no success! I could list the number of high street shops that failed me but I shan't bore you! The trusted and the king of basics that is American Apparel never fails its sock hungry shoppers. Dark blueberry, green apple, eggplant and coral (my personal favourite) are just some of the colours my tootsies are getting pleasure from!

Roll up Roll up and taste the rainbow!

These are a few of my favourite things.....

Blog blog blog blog, everyone now has a fashion slash street style blog! The world wide web has been saturated with blogs, mine included! The question is amongst the good bad and the ugly (mine being apart of the latter) where do you get your monies worth! The following blogs are my favourites and I am known to frantically check them every hour for their latest tit bits but Shhhhhhh don't tell them! We wouldn't want them to get a big head, would we!!??

Hanneli Mustaparta
The beautiful Norwegian blogger not only treats her readers to street style pics but is also known to give away some goodies including YSL totes and the sparkly bra featured above (Im sure she gave it a good rinse before it was sent out to the lucky recipient)

Yvan Rodic
AKA Face Hunter is the Jules Verne of the pack, traveling around the world in 80 frames (yikes, excuse the pun!)  This dude never fails to feed its hungry readers i.e. moi!

Mary Scherpe & Dario Natale
If I was to have a favourite these guys would be it! They post photos of the average Joe with above average personal style! Forget your fashion buyers and Conde Nast journalists (whom get all their clothes for free, while we hard working folk have to scrounge our pennies for samples and seconds, I swear I'm not bitter, really I'm not! Ha!) Its all about the Berliners!

When I grow up I want to be just like Sir Philip!

The saviour of the British high street and his little helpers have done it again! Topman Design have once again  showed a collection that will (fingers crossed) have a high street price tag with a premium touch! Pfff, Lanvin and Viktor and Rolf who needs YOU when I can have the following (well, I wouldn't complain! but sadly my pockets aren't that deep).

All for One and one for all....

Heres a crazy idea... What if for every pair of shoes sold, a pair is given to a child in need! Well such an idea exists - I kid you not! Toms and their "one for one" scheme have donated over 400,000 pairs of shoes to children around the world! £32.00 buys you the most comfortable yet stylish summer shoe (not of the crocodile kind) and the knowledge that some little guy no longer has to walk bare footed! Bargain if you ask me!

Go on, treat yourself and allow them to treat someone else!

The new kids on the block...

Sebastian Lundin and friends showcased Their graduate collections infront of the hungry eyes of the fashion world. Diane von Furstenberg and Julie Gilhart of Barneys eagily awaited with open talons to grab the best St Martins had produced. Lundin already named by the Guardian as the menswear designer to watch dressed his models in high waisted pants and tailored jackets.

Take Note of the above they may just be the next big name churned out by the fashion factory that is Central St Martins.

Its a rainy day, courtesy of Patrick Ervell...

A designer that transforms something that is so distinctly average like a cagoule into an aspirational piece is a winner in my eyes! All thats absent is a packed lunch and a days pass to the science and Industry museum.
